The Oldest Winery in Shasta County.

Matson vineyards is a family-owned winery located just east of Redding, California. Our original vineyard was planted in 1981, and the winery was officially established in 1984. We believe in providing high-quality, handcrafted wines at an affordable price.

We continually strive to explore the incredible diversity of grape varieties that exists and the flavors that can be elicited from them. The evolution of unique wines taking place at our winery requires experimentation with the unique growing conditions here in Shasta County, curiosity about somewhat ignored but high potential varieties, and the desire to discover the subtle ways in which blending of wines can yield exciting and delicious results. Join us in exploring the vast world of Shasta County wines. We believe the evolution of flavors and styles will be fascinating.
